How accurate is this?

Automated valuations are typically within a few percent of the eventual sale price for ordinary homes in active markets, and less reliable for unusual properties, rural land, or homes that were recently renovated. Treat it as a range to start from.

Where does the data come from?

Public records (assessor, deed, and tax data) and recent MLS sales, through a property-data provider. Nothing is scraped from listing sites.

Will an agent call me?

Accepted Answer

No. We do not sell leads and we do not call. The report is free because sellers who find it useful sometimes list with us.

How is this different from a Zestimate?

Accepted Answer

It is the same kind of tool with a different model and data set. Any automated estimate should be checked against the comparable sales it is based on, which we show you.

Can I get a broker's opinion?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Assisted and Managed packages include a pricing report with comparable sales reviewed by a licensed broker before you set a list price.
