Licenses and disclosures

Flat Fee Deal operates this website and the software behind it. It is not a real estate brokerage. Real estate brokerage services, including entry of listings into a multiple listing service, are provided by the licensed brokerage identified below for the state in which the property is located.

Brokerage agreements for North Carolina and South Carolina are being finalized. The brokerage name, broker-in-charge, and license number for each state will be published here before the first listing is accepted. Until then, no listings are being taken.

Required disclosures

Working with real estate agents. In North Carolina, the broker of record represents you as the seller under a written listing agreement. In South Carolina, the broker of record acts as your agent under a written agency agreement. Both states require the brokerage to give you an agency disclosure before you sign, and that disclosure is part of your intake.

Limited service. Depending on your package, the brokerage provides limited services. The listing agreement states exactly which services are included. Cooperating brokers are notified in the MLS that the seller may be contacted directly.

Fair housing. We follow the federal Fair Housing Act and state law. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability, or familial status, and listings are marketed to all buyers.
